Spanish television personality who rose to fame under the professional alias La Veneno (The Poison). She was known for her work on the late-night programs Tonight We Crossed the Mississippi and The Smile of the Pelican.

Born José Antonio Ortiz Rodríguez it was not until her adolescence that she realized she was transexual.

She recorded two singles "Veneno pa 'tu piel" and "La rap de La Veneno." She spent time in prison following her involvement in a case of arson and insurance fraud.

She was from Spain.

During her rise to fame, she had the opportunity to meet and befriend Latin pop sensation Ricky Martin .
