DJ and record producer. He is a former member of Jurassic 5 and Ozomatli. He has released some studio albums and DJ mixes, especially in the hip-hop genre. On his Cut Chemist YouTube channel, he has amassed over 20,000 subscribers who can see some of his live performances and turntable work.
He graduated from the University of California in 1997. In 2004, he released The Litmus Test, which included his solo tracks, remixes, and Jurassic 5 tracks.
He has collaborated with DJ Shadow on many projects. One of those was an album called Brainfreeze that came out in 2000.
He is from Hollywood, California. His real name is Lucas Macfadden.
He has also done some acting work with cameos in films like Juno and Up in the Air, starring George Clooney and Anna Kendrick .
