ABOUT CYRIEL DESSERS

Veteran center forward that originally signed his first professional club contract with OH Leuven in the year 2013. Since then, he's played soccer professionally in Belgium, Scotland, Italy, and the Netherlands. He's also played for the Nigerian men's national team.

Prior to receiving his first professional contract, he played within the OH Leuven youth ranks.

He made his official international team debut with Nigeria playing against Tunisia on October 13, 2020. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.

He grew up living with his family in Tongeren, Belgium. He is of Nigerian descent.

He has played alongside Ahmed Musa as a member of the Nigerian men's national team during his professional career.
