Japanese anime and manga director and animator who began working for Toei Animation in the early 1980s.
He worked on his first film Dragon Ball: The Legend of Shenron during the 1980s.
He became known for his work on the Kindaichi Case Files and the Dragon Ball series.
He was born in Hiroshima, Japan.
He served as an assistant director on Dr. Slump -Arale-chan, a manga series created and illustrated by Akira Toriyama .
