Dallas Goedert

ABOUT DALLAS GOEDERT

NFL tight end who was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles as a second pick in the 2018 Draft. Prior to being drafted, he played college football at South Dakota State University. While there, he was a two-time FCS All-American.

He is a graduate of Britton-Hecla High School. In addition to football, he also played basketball.

His name, Dallas, is derived from the Dallas Cowboys . His father was a huge Cowboys fan during the 1980s and 1990s.

Growing up, he lived with his parents in Britton, South Dakota. Goedert's father, a huge Dallas Cowboys fan, named Goedert after the team.

He played alongside Jalen Hurts as a member of the Eagles during the 2022 NFL season.
