American filmmaker and podcast host. He directed the 2016 horror-thriller film 10 Cloverfield Lane, and 2022's Prey, the reboot of the Predator films. He has 60,000 followers on Twitter and 20,000 on Instagram.

In high school, he worked at a video store in the Willow Grove Park Mall of suburban Philadelphia. He hosted GeekDrome.com and co-hosted the weekly Internet video broadcast "The Totally Rad Show." He directed the internet show Ctrl+Alt+Chicken as well as numerous commercials, for Lexus, Nike, and Coca-Cola.

He directed the premier episode of The Boys . He also earned a Directors Guild of America Award nomination for Outstanding Directing - First-Time Feature Film for 10 Cloverfield Lane .

He was born and raised in Philadelphia in a Jewish family. He married Priscilla Hernandez in 2011.

He directed the premier episode of The Lost Symbol, starring Ashley Zukerman and Valorie Curry . He also directed Prey , starring Amber Midthunder .
