ABOUT DANA BARROS

NBA point guard and shooting guard best known for playing for the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers . He was an NBA All-Star selection in 1995. During his career, he competed in the NBA Three-Point Shootout three separate times. In 1995 as a member of the 76ers, he scored 50 points in a single game.

He played high school basketball at Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood, Massachusetts. He was a star collegiate player for Boston College , leading the Eagles to the Elite 8 in the NCAA tournament.

He received the NBA's Most Improved Player award in 1995. His number 3 was retired by his alma mater Boston College. After retiring from basketball, he worked for the Boston Celtics and he made television appearances on NESN.

He has a son named Jordan.

He was teammates on the Celtics with forward Antoine Walker .
