ABOUT DANIELLA PIERSON
Colombian-American entrepreneur best known as the founder and CEO of The Newsette, a daily media platform and newsletter aimed at young women. She is also the co-founder of a mental health platform called Wondermind, which she launched alongside Selena Gomez and Mandy Teefey . Additionally, she established CHASM, a membership collective that offers mentorship, grants, and other resources for women entrepreneurs and business founders.
She launched The Newsette in 2015 while attending Boston University as a sophomore.
She was named on Forbes' coveted "30 Under 30" list in the media category. At the time, she was among the United States' youngest and wealthiest self-made women of color. In 2023, she was also a recipient of Boston University's Distinguished Young Alumni Award.
Her twin sister is the esteemed YA author Alex Aster . They were both born to Colombian immigrant parents.
She was included on Forbes' 30 Under 30 list in 2020 alongside fellow honorees including Tomi Adeyemi and Elizabeth Bruenig .
