ABOUT DANNI WASHINGTON

Activist and artist known for hosting the STEM-themed TV show Xploration Nature Knows Best. She was on Mission Unstoppable and the web series Science the $#!* out of it. She advocates for the environment and clean oceans.

In 2008, she graduated from University of Miami 's Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric, and Earth Science.

In 2018, she was awarded a Global Impact Award at the EarthXGlobal Gala at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science alongside Buzz Aldrin .

She has Jamaican heritage. She and her mother co-founded the non-profit organization Big Blue & You.

She was on Mission Unstoppable alongside host Miranda Cosgrove .
