Running back for the Clemson University 's team, The Clemson Tigers. He was the recipient of the 2020 Disney Spirit Award, given to college football's most inspirational player. His d_rench Instagram account features photos of his games and training sessions, as well as snapshots from his home life and travels. He has accumulated 100,000 followers.

He was a football letterman for T.L Hanna High School in South Carolina.

He was named the 2021 Community MVP for Clemson. His d_rench TikTok page has accumulated a large following. He posts lifestyle updates and comedic videos.

His father, Darwin, was a letterman in track & field at Clemson. He announced his engagement to Makenzie Wilburn on August 4, 2021. They got married in April of 2022. In July 2022, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child together.

Dabo Swinney has coached him and nominated him for his MVP award through Clemson.
