ABOUT DARRELL WARD
History Channel television personality who starred as a truck driver on the show Ice Road Truckers. He was a series regular from seasons 6 through 10.
He grew up in Missoula, Montana.
He helped organize a food drive for those affected by the Louisiana floods in 2016.
He ran harvest rigs alongside his grandparents. He was a father and grandfather. He died in a single-engine plane crash as the co-pilot of a Cessna 182 plane.
He and Lisa Kelly were both truck drivers on Ice Road Truckers.
