American NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race car driver who began his NASCAR series career in 1992.
He won the 1983 All-Star Sprint Circuit Rookie-of-the-Year Award.
He won his first NASCAR Nationwide Series race at the 2006 Dollar General 300 in Charlotte.
His son, Ryan Blaney , also began competing in NASCAR series races.
He formed a father-son racing duo as did Dale Earnhardt with his son.
