ABOUT DAVID BROMSTAD

American television show host who became recognized for his roles on HGTV, including hosting the shows Color Splash and My Lottery Dream Home. He worked on seasons 3 and 4 of the reality show Brother vs. Brother . He was a celebrity judge on the popular TV series.

Disney laid him off and so he began a solo project to build children their dream bedrooms.

He is the HGTV Season One Winner of HGTV Design Star. He had a guest role on Extreme Makeover : Home Edition in its first season.

His parents are named Diane Marlys Krueger and Richard Harold Bromstad. He was in a long-term relationship with Jeffrey Glasko that ended in 2015.

He and Tanika Ray have both hosted HGTV's Design Star.
