Director and food artist who has gained fame through his work in commercials and sharing his work and behind-the-scenes footage of his creative process on social media. He created cooking videos in the style of Wes Anderson , Quentin Tarantino , and Michael Bay in his Food Films series. He has collaborated with Tim Horton's in the past.

He worked for several creative agencies and as a food stylist before he began his career as a filmmaker.

His work has been featured on Fast Company, Food&Wine, and VICE. He explains off how filmmakers execute their craft and shows off interesting tools of the trade on his davidwma Instagram page, which has gained 120,000 followers. He was TikTok's guest of honor at the Cannes Film Festival in 2022.

He splits his time between Los Angeles and New York.

He created a video showing him seemingly taking flight using gloves based on that of Robert Downey Jr. 's character in Iron Man . He later revealed that he filmed this through the use of a crane.
