ABOUT DEARICA MARIE HAMBY

Athlete who played in the Women's National Basketball Association. She won the 2022 WNBA title with the Las Vegas Aces and announced her pregnancy during the victory parade. In January of 2023, she was traded to the Los Angeles Sparks.

She attended Marietta High School and Norcross High School, both in Georgia.

In the year 2015, she graduated from Wake Forest University . While with the Las Vegas Aces, she twice won the league's sixth player of the year award. In September of 2023, she filed a gender and pregnancy discrimination complaint against the Las Vegas Aces and WNBA. She is quite tall for a woman, standing at 6'3". She also weighs just under 190 pounds.

In March 2023, she and Orlando Scandrick welcomed a son named Legend Maree Scandrick. In 2017, she had a daughter named Amaya.

She and Candace Parker both played with the Los Angeles Sparks.
