ABOUT DEION JONES

Linebacker who is widely known for his career in the NFL. During his rookie 2016 season with the Atlanta Falcons, he played in Super Bowl LI against the Patriots, where he finished with 9 total tackles.

He played college football for LSU as a linebacker. He earned the starting spot his senior year, and finished the year on the short-list for the Butkus Award as one of the nation's top linebackers.

He made the Pro Football Writers Association All-Rookie Team following the 2016 season.

He was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana.

His first career interception came during week 3 of his 2016 rookie season against Drew Brees , which he returned for a touchdown.
