ABOUT DEKKER DREYER

Film director and digital artist best known by his stage name Phantom Astronaut. He utilizes surreal and fantastique themes in his work. He has been considered a pioneer in virtual reality.

He attended Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. He started his professional career in the year 2002 with his first film Closed Circuit.

He was a co-host on the podcast The Future is Virtual. He was featured in the television series Why Did You Come to Japan in the year 2015. Dreyer has spoken at events such as The Cannes Film Festival and Sundance.

He is from Daytona Beach, Florida. He married Julia Howe in the year 2009.

He has worked with actor Lance Henriksen .
