ABOUT DEMETRIUS JOHNSON

Gained fame as a college basketball player and athlete from Cleveland, Ohio. He has averaged double-digit points per game and earned All-SEC Second Team honors.

He attended Garfield Heights High School in Ohio. Before suffering an ACL injury during his junior year, he was averaging 23 points per game.

He graduated high school early and joined Ohio State University in January of 2020. He committed to play for Notre Dame, under coach Mike Brey. In his freshman season he was expected to back up guards Eric Atkins and Jerian Grant.

He is the son of Meechie Johnson Sr. And Manuella Cooper.

He is close family friends with NBA player LeBron James , whom he refers to as an uncle.
