ABOUT DENOE LEEDY
Classical pianist who served as Chairman of the Department of Music at Mount Holyoke College from 1937 until 1958.
He graduated from Baltimore's Peabody Institute.
He performed with the Baltimore Symphony and the Cleveland Orchestra.
He married Marion Sarles, and together they had one child, Diana, in 1927.
He premiered Aaron Copland 's Passacaglia in Boston in November 1925.
