ABOUT DEON ESTUS
Professional rock bassist known for playing on the first two solo projects of pop star George Michael . He was also a solo artist and released an album called Spell in 1989.
He went to Northwestern High School. He was in the R&B band Brainstorm in the 1970s. In the 1980s, he moved to Europe and toured with Marvin Gaye .
His 1989 single "Heaven Help Me" peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100.
He married to Olga Johnson in his 20s, and they later divorced in the 1980s. They had one child named Laela Estus.
He played with Tina Turner , Frank Zappa and Elton John .
