Director, producer, and screenwriter best known for his creative projects at his award-winning production company 2 Cents Production. He and his partner are best known as the creators of the TV series The DL Chronicles.

He previously started out as an actor in early roles such as the film Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit and the TV series The Hughleys.

His groundbreaking TV series The DL Chronicles won a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Television Movie, Mini-Series or Anthology.

He married Quincy LeNear in 2014 after 18 years of dating. They became one of BET's Most Famous LGBT Celebrity Couples.

He and his partner were one of the several couples married by Queen Latifah during the 2014 Grammys.
