Professional esports player who is known for his time in the Cloud9 gaming organization. He specializes in League of Legends for them, and began his tenure during the 2013 season.

He graduated from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota with a master's degree in software engineering. He created his first account, ShawnOfTheDead, in January 2010.

In 2015, he earned a silver medal as a member of Cloud9 at the North American League of Legends Championship Series (NA LCS) in 2015. His team lost 3:1 to Team SoloMid.

He was born and raised in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

He competed against Jason Tran , who is known by his WIldTurtle gamertag and played for Team SoloMid, during the 2015 NA LCS.
