ABOUT DIEGO MICHIELS
Defender who has represented Indonesia at tournaments like the Southeast Asian Games and Islamic Solidarity Games. At the club level, he has competed for squads like Go Ahead Eagles, Sriwijaya FC and Borneo FC.
He began his youth career with DVV RDC in 2006 and made his professional debut with Go Ahead Eagles in 2009.
In 2013, he converted to Islam and changed his name to Diego Muhammad bin Robbie Michiels.
His mother is Dutch and his father is Indonesian.
He and Gavin Kwan Adsit have both played for Borneo FC.
