ABOUT DIEGO THUG

Brazilian rapper, best known as the lead singer and co-founder of the 2010's group Bonde da Stronda and for hits like "Mansão Thug Stronda" (2012) and "Bonde da Maromba" (2012). He now is more known for his solo work, posting music and lifestyle content to his over 340,000 followers on Instagram, under the handle diegothug.

In 2006, with Léo Schulz, he founded the group Bonde da Stronda. He was the main songwriter of the group, writing lyrics that portrayed his life of partying, dating and making music.

He currently owns the record label called ZeroUM Records that continues to release solo works with Bonde da Stronda and other artists. As a solo artist, he has released hits like "Neon" (2016), "Vale A Pena" (2016), and "After" (2024).

He was born Diego Raphael Villanueva in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

He dated the singer Anitta between 2011 and 2012. The two planned to launch a music video together, which was canceled with their breakup in late 2012.
