ABOUT DIMAS RAMADHAN PANGESTU
Indonesian chef, restaurateur, and social media star known online as Kang Daging or Dims The Meat Guy. He rose in popularity for his meat-focused food content, and later founded Meatguy Steakhouse. His dimsthemeatguy TikTok account has garnered more than 6 million followers, with a collective 212 million likes on his videos.
He studied at the Fachhochschule Südwestfalen culinary institute in Germany, and later worked in restaurants. He started sharing cooking content on social media in 2020.
In 2024, he served as a judge for the World Steak Challenge. He has become an expert in dry-aged beef. One of his favorite parts of owning his restaurant is meeting customers who travel from all over the world to eat there.
His wife, Nadia, filmed his early TikTok video that went viral.
He has collaborated on videos with fellow content creators like Max The Meat Guy and Vincent Yeow Lim .
