ABOUT DJ BURNS JR.
6'9" power forward and athlete who initially helped lead North Carolina State University to the final four in the 2024 NCAA Tournament. He began his collegiate career at the University of Tennessee , spending one year with the school.
He played high school basketball at York Preparatory Academy and became a top 100 recruit.
He helped NC State win the 2024 ACC Tournament and he earned ACC Tournament MVP honors. He transferred to NC State in the year 2022. In the year 2019, he transferred to Winthrop, where he played three seasons and earned the 2022 Big South Player of the Year award.
He was raised in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
He helped lead NC State past forward Kyle Filipowski and Duke University on their way to the 2024 final four.
