ABOUT DJ COCOA CHANELLE
DJ and radio personality known for her work on HOT 97 and KISS FM in New York City. She also spent six years on the BET show Teen Summit and has appeared on Rap City and 106 & Park.
She began working as an MC when she was 12, then as a DJ at 13 with some encouragement from her late brother.
She's also become known for her music production and remixes, one of which was featured in Precious.
She lost her parents to alcoholism at a young age and was raised by her grandmother in West Virginia. She also lost Andre, her brother, to a shooting a few months prior to joining HOT 97.
She helped Saigon produce the single "Pain My Life."
