ABOUT DJ MONTAY

DJ, music producer, and songwriter known for producing chart-topping hits such as "Walk It Out" and "2 Step" by DJ Unk and Flo Rida 's Flo Rida's "Low." He is also known for serving as the official DJ for T-Pain .

He grew up with a love for rap music and hip-hop. He experimented with making music with a drum machine when he was 9 years old. He continued making beats and began DJing. He connected with Big Oomp Records, which began his DJ career. His significant label placement was in 2005, where he produced "Suckas Come and Try Me" for Dem Franchize Boyz.

He has served as a mentor for Big Oomp Records and has helped coach young producers and artists. He was mentored by DJ Jelly.

His real name is  Montay Humphrey. He was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He has collaborated on projects with his partner Shontee Renee.

He collaborated with Lil Flip , Yo Gotti , and Pastor Troy .
