ABOUT DJ PIERRE
House music producer and DJ who is best known for having been one of the originators of the acid house genre. He made up one third of the trio Phuture and released the infamous single Acid Trax in 1987.
He was born Nathaniel Pierre Jones, and he used to DJ at the Chicago based nightclub Muzic Box.
He made an appearance on BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix in 2007.
He is from the United States.
In 2013, he was inducted into Pete Tong 's dance music Hall of Fame.
