ABOUT DON GROLNICK
Jazz artist who worked with many big names in the pop arena. He died from non-Hodgkin Lymphoma when he was just 48.
He attended Tufts University where he majored in Philosophy.
He played with such groups as Steps Ahead, Dreams, the Brecker Brothers, and Ten Wheel Drive.
He was a child when his father took him to a Count Basie concert, but that was enough to spark a lifelong passion for jazz.
He worked with Carly Simon at one point.
