Basketball star and athlete who became famous playing for the University of Connecticut Huskies. He was named MVP of the 2022 Phil Knight Invitational Tournament after recording a double-double in championship game.
He played basketball at Bristol Central High School in Connecticut.
As a freshman in the 2022-23 season, he appeared in all 39 games for the Huskies. He averaged 6.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.8 blocks per game, while shooting .655 overall. He is known for his 7'2″ height, his agility, footwork, and his passing ability.
His parents are Bill Clingan and Stacey Porrini Clingan. His mother was a basketball player at the University of Maine . She died of breast cancer at the age of 42. He has a sister named Olivia.
He played alongside Adama Sanogo at UConn.
