Dorothy Bush Koch
ABOUT DOROTHY BUSH KOCH
Known best as the daughter and sister of, respectively, U.S. Presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush , this Texas-born woman published a 2006 book titled My Father, My President: A Personal Account of the Life of George H.W. Bush .
She grew up with four older brothers: George, Jeb , Marvin , and Neil ; her older sister, Pauline, died of childhood cancer in 1953.
In the early 1980s, she graduated from Boston College with a degree in sociology.
Her first marriage, to William LeBlond, resulted in children named Ellie and Sam. Her later marriage, to businessman and lobbyist Robert P. Koch, produced a son named Robert and a daughter named Gigi.
She helped lead her mother's Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy.
