ABOUT DREW DARBY

Republican politician, attorney, and District 72 member of the Texas House of Representatives. While serving as a state Representative, he chaired the Texas Higher Education and House Redistricting Committees.

Before becoming a Texas Representative in 2007, he served on the City Council of San Angelo, Texas.

He attended law school at the University of Texas and business school at the University of Virginia.

With his wife Clarisa Darby, he raised five children.

He and fellow Republican politician Steve Southerland (of Florida) both held National Rifle Association (NRA) memberships.
