Serbian attacking midfielder who spent years in Eredivisie with clubs like FC Twente before joining Southampton in Premiere League in 2014. He made his international debut for Serbia in 2008 and was chosen to play in the FIFA World Cup the same year. He began playing with the club Ajax in 2018.

He played with his hometown club AIK Backa Topola before spending four seasons in the youth system of Vojvodina.

He led Eredivisie in assists during the 2010-11 and 2013-14 seasons. His soccer fame has earned him more than 1.8 million followers on Instagram, where he primarily posts soccer content and career updates.

His parents are named Petar and Maria.

He played alongside Serbian team captain Vladimir Stojkovic at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
