Australian professional basketball player who played for the New Orleans Pelicans . He was selected as the eighth overall draft pick in the 2022 NBA draft. His dysondaniels11 Instagram account, where he posts updates about his professional career, has over 110,000 followers.

He played semi-professional basketball in 2019 before joining the NBA Global Academy training center in Canberra, Australia.

He played in the NBA G League in 2021, competing in the Rising Stars Challenge at the 2022 NBA All-Star Weekend.  He was traded to the Atlanta Hawks in 2024.

He was born and raised in Bendigo, Australia, to Ricky Daniels and Brikitta Kool-Daniels. He has an older brother named Kai Daniels, and a younger brother named Dash Daniels.

He joined Zion Williamson on the New Orleans Pelicans in 2022.
