Brazilian professional football player who is best known for his work as a defender and defensive midfielder for the Real Madrid club. He is also known for his work as a right-back and defender for the Brazil national team. His soccer fame has helped him gain over 9 million followers on Instagram.

He started his youth career in 2010 when he played for the Sao Paulo youth club. He started gaining international attention in 2015 when he played as part of Brazil's under-17 national team. He made his debut for Real Madrid in 2019 and that same year he also debuted on the Brazil national team.

He is known for having been the Defender of the Month within the Primeira Liga on several occasions including in September 2018, in December 2018, and again in January of 2019.

He was born and raised in Sertaozinho, Brazil.

He scored his first goal for the Porto club in 2018 in a match against Schalke 04 after he received a cross from teammate Oliver Torres .
