ABOUT EDGAR ALLEN
American anatomist and physiologist who discovered estrogen and had a role in creating the field of endocrinology.
He went to Brown University and served in World War I before later being appointed the chair of anatomy at the University of Missouri.
He also served in the United States Coast Guard until his death in 1943.
He grew up with family in Canon City, Colorado.
Like him, Paul Eston Lacy was an anatomist.
