ABOUT EDGAR WRIGHT
English director known for works such as 2010's Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and 2004's Shaun of the Dead. He also co-wrote Steven Spielberg 's 2011 animated feature The Adventures of Tintin. In 2021, he released the popular film Last Night in Soho , which he wrote and directed.
His feature debut was a western spoof called A Fistful of Fingers in 1994.
From 1998 to 2001, he worked with Simon Pegg on the TV series Spaced. One of his favorite films of all time is An American Werewolf in London.
He began dating actress Anna Kendrick in 2010 after meeting on the set of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World; they eventually split in 2013. He has also dated Ash guitarist Charlotte Hatherley .
He directed the 2007 action/comedy Hot Fuzz starring Nick Frost .
