ABOUT EDNA MURILLO
Afro-Colombian journalist who became a news anchor at France 24 in August, 2017. She was an anchor at Canal RCN from March 2013. In 2017 she created her own web-series Diaspora, focused on the ancestry knowledge of the Afro-Colombian community.
She has a social communications and journalism degree from University of La Sabana. She initially began her undergraduate studies in a physical education degree, but after one semester switched to journalism.
In 2015 she was awarded the Afro-descendant of the year award by the El Espectador and the Color of Colombia Foundation
Her mother is Georgy Muro.
In February 2018 she interviewed the rapper Apache .
