ABOUT EDON ZHEGROVA

This German-born footballer plays right wing for Lille in France's Ligue 1, and also stars for the Kosovo national team. He has 250,000 followers on Instagram.

Zhegrova came up through youth team systems of Kosovo and Belgium. At the Milan Junior Camp in Kosovo in 2012, he was chosen as the event's best player.

Although he was born in Herford, Germany, his parents moved there from the Kosovo village Dobrajë e Madhe of Lipjan. This later became his Zhegroza's temporary residence after his family returned to Kosovo's capital, Pristina, after the end of Kosovo War. He prefers to play with his left foot, and some have hailed him as the "new Eden Hazard ."

His younger sister, Valza is a pop music singer and his cousin Irina Legova is a renowned concertina player with the Kosovan National Orchestra.
