She has worked several years in business development for the Harvey Nash staffing and recruiting group.

Golden Tate proposed to her in 2015 in her hometown of San Diego, California. They tied the knot in Mexico in 2017.

She has become friends with a number of Tate's teammates including Calvin Johnson and Reggie Bush .
