ABOUT ELWOOD FRANCIS
Bassist, instrumentalist, performer, entertainer, musician, artist, and guitarist who is known for playing bass, backing, and providing thelead vocals in the iconic band ZZ Top . In the year 2021, he joined the group after the death of bass player Dusty Hill .
He was ZZ Top's longtime guitar tech. He started working with ZZ Top in the early 1990s.
He was a guitar tech for several other bands and musical groups including The Black Crowes , Guns N' Roses , and Aerosmith . In the year 2022, he played a 17-string bass guitar onstage. He also played in his own band called The Mighty Skullhead.
He and his wife Jennifer Francis have two children.
He played alongside Billy Gibbons in ZZ Top.
