ABOUT ELYSE WEINBERG
Singer, songwriter and guitarist who was a member of the 1960s folk music scene. She played with Neil Young , Joni Mitchell and Gordon Lightfoot . She released her first album, "Elyse," in 1969 and it was reissued in 2000.
She started playing the guitar when she was a child. She dropped out of McGill University to focus on playing music.
She released her final album "In My Own Sweet Time" in 2009.
She was born in Chatham, Ontario, Canada. She and her family moved to Montreal when she was 12 years old.
Her songs have been covered by artists such as Cher and Courtney Barnett .
