Award winning theater director and play write, who has overseen the McCarter Theater as Artistic Director for over 25 seasons.
She obtained her BA in English from Harvard University and her MFA in Theater Directing from The University of Minnesota.
Her play, Execution of Justice, premiered at the famous Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, Minnesota and was the winner of the HBO New Plays USA Award.
She was born in Boston, Massachusetts.
She directed actress Frances McDormand in a production of Anton Chekhov 's Three Sisters. McDormand is known for her roles in films like Fargo, Almost Famous, and Burn After Reading.
