ABOUT EMMA NAVARRO

Professional singles and doubles player, tennis player, and athlete who has competed at the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open during her playing career. Prior to her professional career, she played collegiate tennis at the University of Virginia .

As a senior in high school, she was named the top tennis prospect in the United States. As a freshman, she won the 2021 NCAA Singles Championship.

She won her first career title as a professional after defeating Elise Mertens during the 2024 Auckland Classic. She also defeated Petra Martić during her championship run. In June of 2024, she was named one of the top 20 women's tennis players in the world.

She grew up living with her parents and her siblings. She was born of Italian descent.

She defeated Coco Gauff during the 2024 Wimbledon Championships.
