Basketball prodigy who went viral while in the seventh grade as being a top future prospect. One of his highlight reels on YouTube has exceeded one million views. In 2023, he signed to play with the Cleveland Cavaliers .

He plays for the Toledo Wildcats in Ohio.

He was 6'7 by the seventh grade.  He attended University of Memphis to play college basketball however he announced that he'd be transferring after his first season.

He followed in his father, E.J. Bates, footsteps when he took up basketball. He posted several photos on Facebook with his cousins.

He has been called the next Kevin Durant .
