ABOUT ERIC LIPTON
Investigative reporter best known for his work at The New York Times. He covers topics ranging from Pentagon spending, to the Trump family, to toxic chemicals. He previously worked at The Hartford Courant and The Washington Post. He has been awarded multiple Pulitzer Prizes.
He graduated the University of Vermont with a degree in philosophy and history. He started his career at a small New Hampshire paper.
He covered the 2001 terror attacks. He and James Glanz wrote a 2003 book titled City in the Sky, the Rise and Fall of the World Trade Center.
In 2009, he married attorney Elham Dehbozorgi. His parents are Helene Lipton and Herbert B. Lipton.
He reported on the final years of the administration of New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani .
