Erich Probst

ABOUT ERICH PROBST

Austrian striker whose professional career spanned from 1945 to 1963. He played for a number of teams, most notably Rapid Wien, with whom he made 112 appearances and scored 117 goals.

He began his professional career with Admira Wien in the Austrian League.

He played on the Austrian national team from 1951 to 1960.

He was married to Evelyn Probst.

His career was winding down when the legendary Pele stepped on to the soccer scene.
