ABOUT ESTHER CHOI

Celebrity chef and social media personality best known for being the owner and lead chef of the Brooklyn-based Mokbar. She introduces patrons to the flavors of Korean culture while combining traditional and modern influences with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

At the age of 14, she enrolled in courses at New York City's Institute of Culinary Education.

During her career, she held positions at the world-renowned ilili and La Esquina restaurants. She hosted the Eater video series "Kitchen Gadgets." She also guest-starred on Selena + Chef .

She began learning cooking techniques through her Korean-native grandmother.

She appeared alongside Selena Gomez on Selena + Chef.
