ABOUT ETHAN SLATER

Actor known for television appearances in New Mayor of New York and Redheads Anonymous. He made headlines in 2016 when it was announced that he would be playing Spongebob in the SpongeBob SquarePants, The Broadway Musical .  He won a Tony Award for his work on the musical.  He played the role of Boq in Wicked: Part 1 .

One of his first stage roles was playing Joseph Cornell in Hotel Cassiopeia.

He was a wrestler in high school and would go on to receive his college degree from Vassar College .

His instagram profile pic has featured a picture of himself and his mom.  In 2018, he married Lilly Jay, whom he met at the age of 13.  The couple had a son together in 2022 and separated the following year. In 2023, he began dating Ariana Grande .

He starred in the Spongebob Musical based on the TV series created by Stephen Hillenburg .
